Raskild is a supporting character on the Netflix original series Barbarians. She is portrayed by Sinha Melina Gierke.
Raskild is a Marcomanni woman who was enslaved in a Roman camp, where she met Folkwin Wolfspeer, who with help from the Germanic tribes, conquered Rome in the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest.[1]

Season 1[]
Enslaved by Rome[]
Raskild is made a slave of Rome. There, she meets Folkwin Wolfspeer, though, considering that he's supposed to be dead, he tells her that his name is Berulf. She explains how he drunkenly attacked a group of Roman soldiers the night before. Another slave tried to escape during the fight. He was killed and thrown into the fire. And they took Folkwin in his place.
Raskild and Folkwin witness as one of the slave girls are pulled from the cell. Folkwin attempts to intervene, attacking one of the soldiers. For this, he is punished. They bind his hands and publicly whip him.
Later, Folkwin asks Raskild to distract the guard while he asks a random merchant to deliver a message.[2]
Escaping Enslavement[]
Rasklid discovers that Folkwin is working with Arminius and that they will be freed. As the Romans' summer campaign concludes, The three legions of Rome are led into an ambush orchestrated by Arminius and Thusnelda. With the Romans under attack, Folkwin manages to kill one of the guards, allowing for him and Raskild to escape their shackles.[1]
